Well, this is simply a Quicktime VR picture, except that normally they are panoramic (360° horizontal) and this time the photographer turned the camera (360° vertical). It is assembled as one picture, but you actually have to take several photographs that you join into one, and here you can see the”glueing” right in the middle of the bridge

There is a 360 degree painting in Hague, Netherlands called Panaroma Mesdag. Yu stand in the center and see the 360 degree view around you. Its quite facinating.
