How Smart Is Your Right Foot?
Trust me try this, it takes only few seconds.
This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And, you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot. But you can’t!!!
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number “6″ in the air with your right hand.. Your foot will change direction!!!
I told you so.. And there is nothing you can do about it.

Actually, I tried this and was able to continue making clockwise circles with my foot. This may have to do with the fact that I was a drummer. To properly play the drums you have to “separate” your hands from your feet, allowing you to hit the bass drum or raise the ride cymbal without interfering with the motion of your hands.

yosh. Depends how you draw the 6 – if you start with the circle, the foot keeps going clockwise. If you start from the top, it usually goes the other way.

Dude. Did this first try and I was like “pfft no big deal I’m a drummer. I learned to separate my hands and feet years ago.” Read the first comment and shit myself.

Professional uilleann piper and trad Irish fiddle player here. Like the drummers, it was easy for me to do.

Sorry, it takes a little concentration, and you have to go slow at first, but it is pretty easy to bypass this little mental block.

I just did FIRST time at ‘normal’ speed. I drew the six from the top. This is absolutely rubbish.

If you don’t know it, it will change direction.
If you know about it and try some times you can do it.
It mostly depends on where is your foot when you start drawing 6.
